Down to the wire. The Rockstar Energy Triple Crown AX Tour is winding it's way through Ontario for the last 2 stops in the circuit and things heated up in round 3 at Sarnia, Ontario this past weekend. We saw some pretty crazy bar banging in the Pro classes and some outstanding efforts made in the amateur ranks. Fan attendance was probably the largest we have seen on the AX Tour here in Sarnia. A few bumps in the road during the day program. The fire department shut things down while they got the gas fumes under control for the evening show. The dirt was way less 'moist' than last years event and was gummy to say the least. Traction was not an issue at this round, nor was roost for that matter. We take things to Barrie, ON for the 4th and final round of the AX Tour next weekend and you can be sure there will be plenty of action to keep you on the edge of your seat. Let's take a look at some of the FXR athletes who competed at Sarnia.

With ventilation an issue at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena, this meant all doors were open and fans were running and it was pretty chilly. Good thing Phil packed his off-road vest.
Shawn Maffenbeier needs to get himself a good start.
Cade Clason would take 5th in the main event.
Phil Nicoletti was on a charge in the main event and keeping Thompson at bay but a downed lapper gave Phil zero room for clearance and this set him back and provided Thompson with the opportunity to blow past him. Nicoletti would take 3rd in the main event.
Shawn Maffenbeier would take 6th in the main.
Your 250 Pro podium with Luke Renzland taking 3rd place.
